Baillie takes a holistic and empathetic approach to care, recognizing that mental health is not a destination but a continuous journey.
Baillie always been drawn to understanding people — their emotions, behaviors, and the experiences that shape who they are. What truly inspired her to pursue a career in mental health was witnessing how deeply untreated mental health challenges can affect every part of a person’s life — their relationships, their sense of self, and their ability to find joy in everyday moments.
Over the years, Baillie has had the privilege of working in diverse healthcare settings, including the Emergency Room (ER), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and within the community. Through her involvement with the Trauma Survivors Network, she has supported individuals navigating the aftermath of trauma, facilitated peer support groups, and participated in suicide awareness initiatives. These experiences have deepened her understanding of the lasting impact trauma can have — not only on individuals, but on their families and loved ones as well.
Baillie takes a holistic and empathetic approach to care, recognizing that mental health is not a destination but a continuous journey. Her goal is to create a calming, judgment-free space where clients feel safe to explore their emotions and experiences openly. She believes in the power of communication and trust, and works to build relationships where clients feel truly seen, heard, and valued.
Every client is unique, which is why Baillie develops individualized treatment plans tailored to their needs and goals. She is deeply committed to advocating for her clients and supporting them as they work toward healing, balance, and self-discovery. She also recognizes the importance of family involvement in recovery and strives to provide both patient- and family-centered care.
What Baillie finds most rewarding about this work is witnessing the transformation that unfolds throughout the healing journey — seeing clients regain stability, confidence, and hope. The combination of science, empathy, and advocacy is what fuels her passion for mental health care and reminds her daily why this work is so meaningful.
Outside of her professional life, Baillie finds peace and joy in spending time with her family and being near the water — whether it’s relaxing by the lake, enjoying a sunny day at the beach, or simply soaking in the calm that nature provides. These moments recharge her and help her bring her best self to the clients she serves.
