Ria completed her M.A. in Mental Health Counseling at Asbury Theological Seminary. She believes it is an honor to come alongside each of her clients and assist them in overcoming life's hardships. Ria understands that everyone is unique and will work hard to understand each of her client's needs and concerns, as well as personal strengths.

Ria's counseling style includes looking at the whole person (emotional, physical, social, and spiritual) and using evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Strength-based approaches. Ria is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) for trauma.

Ria's areas of interest include working with individuals looking for guidance on overcoming anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, life transitions, and trauma. She is also able to provide Christian Counseling for those interested in incorporating their Faith and Biblical Truth in session.

Outside of counseling, Ria enjoys crossword puzzles, reading, weightlifting, and spending time with her family.
